V&A and G&T
While the days are drawing in and the weather turns autumnal why not do something different? Join our winter warmer tour to visit the newly opened and much acclaimed V&A Museum in Dundee and combine it with a visit to the fantastic Persie Gin in the Glenshee hills.
Let Braw Days guide you for the day by travelling in one of our comfortable vehicles. You will have ample time to take in the exhibitions at the V&A museum and perhaps enjoy some time in the Living Room Cafe or sit down for lunch in the Tatha bar and restaurant in the new building. If you would prefer you could spend some time at RRS Discovery, the ship that took Scott and Shackleton to Antarctic, just next to the fantastic architecture of the new museum.
From Dundee Braw Days will take you up into the Perthshire Hills to Bridge of Cally, where Persie Gin is located. This fantastic distillery produce 3 distinct styles of aromatic gins using glen water. The optional ‘liquid tour’ goes through the process involved in making the gin with a tour of Phil the Still and the bottling hub, the tour explains the back story of Persie Gin and the botanicals used. Of course there is the 3 gin flight tasting with special editions or cocktail samples.
From Persie Gin we will travel over the breathtaking scenery of Glenshee down into Braemar for a refreshment stop before travelling back along beautiful Deeside aiming to arrive back around 6pm.
